All I ever want, is to feel supported and accommodated for wherever I am in relation to my epilepsy. My condition is not who I am, it’s just an extra thing I happen to have. I always prefer people get to know me as a person first before telling them I have epilepsy because people can judge and make assumptions based on a lack of understanding and information.
