Simularity News 022 A couple new early access mods and a few mod updates today.

I never got around to setting my nightstand clock back an hour last year... so guess who already has a correctly set clock right now?

I think the new Homemaker Trait is about done as I've been testing it for the past several days and it seems solid. I also am starting on an update and re-release of my Crafter's Corner Lot Trait.

Spellcaster Covenstead (Refresh) A total refresh of my popular Spellcaster Covenstead Lot Trait with lots of cool new features for all types of Sims.

Classic Bowling Alley Lot Trait A new lot trait to turn ordinary venues with bowling lanes into fully featured bowling alleys!

Simularity News 021 A few mod updates today, a new Don't mod, and some new mods coming out of early release very soon!

I'm still working on the refresh of my Homemaker Trait. Most of it is working as hoped, just a few more wrinkles to iron out before it's ready. I may have some mod updates and new mods for you all tomorrow. It just depends on how much I can get done tonight.

New Canning Recipes This mod introduces 11 new canning recipes to the game with new ingredients and custom jar labels.

I also noticed that the buff icons I had created had rough edges and looked wrong to me. After a while in Photoshop this morning, I think I finally figured out how best to make buff icons that look like and blend in with the game's buff icons.

I'm in the midst of testing my refreshed Homemaker Trait. So far so good even though I've ran into several issues (that's to be expected). That said, most of the social interactions and tablet interactions are working well. The proximity buffs were broken but are now fixed.

Simularity News 020 Some updates, new mod releases, and the early release of my long-awaited Rock Star Career Refresh! 

I wrote 10 new social interactions for my Homemaker Trait Refresh. (Half are for talking to friend Sims and the other half for talking with family Sims). Each social has positive and negative reaction buffs for the speaker and listener. I have literally lost count of how many buffs I've wrote today.

Ok, back to modding now. I'm working on a refresh of my Homemaker Trait and then I'll update my Homemaker Aspiration. Oh, I'll do a site update with a few mod updates tomorrow. No, today. Didn't see what time it was.

It seems Will Trent is *almost* as obsessed with his chihuahua as I am with mine.

I just got Hulu and started binging Will Trent (the detective chihuahua show) and totally forgot what I was supposed to be doing. Whoopsie!

My sleep disorder caught up to me back on Friday night. I slept through all of Saturday and Sunday. Only now am I feeling back to normal enough to get back to work.

Tech Savvy Trait Sims that are Tech Savvy live for all things technological, digital, and cutting edge and are masters of their chosen interests.

Artist Trait (Refresh) This trait will give your Sim a true artistic personality and make them a master painter in no time with other benefits and perhaps some drawbacks as well.

I'll be doing a final test run of my Rock Star career later tonight. I'm now brainstorming ideas for an overhaul of my Homemaker Trait, and I might make a new version of my currently retired Crafter's Corner Lot Trait.

Simularity News 019 Two new mods in early access plus a new "Don't" mod, and a few mod updates plus news about what's coming up soon.

I'm about done with the refresh of my Rock Star Career. I just created new "gold record" objects that are rewards for the three highest career levels on both branches. Here's a preview.

I *almost* have the new bowling alley lot trait done. I just need to work out a few more little bugs. The refresh of my spellcaster lot trait *is* done. I'm still in the midst of testing out the refresh of my Rock Star Career which will take a while longer.

I started work on a new lot trait for bowling alleys last July but ran into problems and never finished it. Well, now I'm attempting to pick up where I left off with it. It seems I had most of it done, just needed to add a few more features which I'm now doing. :)

As for Rock Star, I had to remove one of the features because I couldn't get it working right; an included event to "Meet Bandmates" for those in the Band career track. I'll keep it on my to do list and hope to add it back in later.

I think the refresh of my Spellcaster Covenstead Lot Trait is complete. During my last set of tests, everything worked like it should. (Surprised me!) I might just have this ready for my next update sometime next week!

Simularity News 018 Several new mods, several mod updates, news about what's coming up, and more!

Traits Characteristics Compatibility This mod adds my traits to Growing Together's Characteristics Preferences so now Sims may like or dislike another Sim if it has a certain trait of mine.

I'm also crafting a Refresh of my Spellcaster Covenstead Lot Trait with lots of new features, fixes, and more. I've got it mostly coded, just need to test some more of the features and fix what isn't working yet. If all goes well, I'll have it ready for next week's update. :D

Rock Star Career Refresh Progress Update: I've got all the planned systems coded and integrated into the mod. Now I just need to thoroughly test everything out by playing through the career and its two branches. Fingers crossed!

Progress Report on Rock Star Career Refresh: I got the "Hire an Agent" system working early this morning. I rewrote all of the chance cards from the old career version. They all have new outcomes PLUS a new third option to skip the card altogether. I just finished adding the cards to the mod...

The new pack will be released tomorrow along with a small game patch. I'm going to need at least a day or two to study what's new and see how it may affect my mods. I think you can expect a site update (with new and updated mods) on Saturday Feb. 14 unless there is something critical.

I've got the New Canning Recipes done. Since some of the jars use fruit from different expansion packs, I've divided the files into separate packages so you can install only the ones you have the packs for OR use the all-in-one package file. I don't want to exclude anyone who doesn't have all packs.

Also, when your head tells you to test out a texture before making 10 more, LISTEN! I got the texture map areas for the jam and the jar lid backwards on all 11 textures before I tested them out and realized my mistake. I had to go back and redo them all.

I've created 11 new recipes in all. :D Testing went well and they can be sold on Plopsy. I'll have them ready for release later this week.
