Lots of birds today: 1st time I've been able to get pic of hummingbird, this one sat for a long time. May be cold after storm last night? Female black chinned probably. The oriole convention, 2 males 1 female in standoff over the 2 jelly feeders. TWO Black headed Grosbeaks here GOLDFINCHES next

I was inspired by the floating Danish wildflowers. I pulled out my drawer of seeds I ordered ~20 years ago & have been in my fridge ever since. I mixed up some Southwest mix + Pollinator mix + zinnias + few others & spread it all over & mixed it in to my little raised bed. I WANT FLOWERS!

Quick view of the fountain flowers, purple & a blue salvia & new birdbath fountain ⛲️ & new electric blue salvia, that I just broke blooming stem off of. All are hummer & bee 🐝 fav.

I've been planting flowers 💐 around the yard, purple daisy & yellow snapdragons at the oasis & my favorite electric blue salvia at the base of the other purple salvia. A friend gave me a bird bath that I had a solar water fountain ⛲️ to put in it. Hopefully the hummers & other birdies will like it.
