Here’s a proof-of-life post 1.5 months into residency! I’m working 3pm-11pm on labor and delivery this week, so I should be home just in time to watch BoMB at midnight!!* *Assuming no babies decide to make their entrance right before I’m supposed to leave…and assuming I can stay awake until 2am 😅

Just got back from a much-needed vacation, a highlight of which was getting to paddle board with manatees!! And yay for there being so much ol/bomb content to catch up on 😍

Today was surreal. 🥹 Literal blood, sweat, and (lots of) tears went into this degree. Thank you to everyone who’s cheered me on from afar these past few years. It has meant more to me than you know!! 🤍🩺

Thought I was about to have an airport meet cute when a handsome man asked to sit with me in the concourse of LGA. Turns out he’s just a friendly Canadian and there weren’t any open tables for him to sit. He’s happily married with 2 kids. 🥲😂

Finally got to read this gorgeous book by @jenniferrose.bsky.social and omg what a masterpiece!! 😍 These six(!!) characters are so beautifully written and I’m seriously obsessed with each of them. 💛

My very first clinical rotation in med school was hospice/palliative medicine. Tomorrow I begin my very last rotation, which happens to be NICU. There’s some kind of reverse-circle-of-life lesson in there somewhere. 🤍

I ended up matching into my top choice of the family medicine programs I ranked. 😊 Best of all, I get to come back home!! There was a point in med school when I genuinely wasn’t sure if I was cut out for this, so feeling super grateful to know it was all worth it. 🥹

I matched!! We don’t find out *where* until Friday but I’m just so freaking relieved. 🥹 Luck of the Irish perhaps?? ☘️

Next week is Match week aka the time a computer algorithm determines the trajectory of my career and subsequently the rest of my life. I’m fine and definitely not stressed at all. 🥲
