Couple of observations from this clip. Note the developing gap between the mini and the taxi in front of it at the beginning of the clip. Then see the driver of the mini fail to stop for a pedestrian crossing at the zebra. Can’t prove it but I’d wager the driver was on a mobile phone. But cyclists!

Cyclist goes through a red light and nearly gets t-boned by a motorbike on Park Lane. Unbelievably two other cyclists cross Park Lane on a red straight after. Just wait, guys. It’s literally seconds.

This driver was looking left to see what was coming into the roundabout. Looked right as an after thought to see what was actually on the roundabout that needed giving way to. The driver kindly waved me across 👍

Does this happen in other cycling cities? Or is it just London’s cyclists that strive to be hated amongst all road users? 🤷🏻‍♂️

This is an egregious manoeuvre by the rider of this delivery moped. Mustn’t delay someone’s Whole Foods order. But cyclists are the problem, apparently 🤷🏻‍♂️

The cyclist in front of me could’ve ended up being a tennis ball between the driver of the car on the right, accelerating through a give way, and the driver of the Rolls on the left poking its nose out. Even with tax and insurance, car drivers that don’t follow rules are a danger

It wouldn’t have inconvenienced either of these protagonists to wait literally 2 seconds for safe passage. Instead, the taxi driver carried out a punishment manoeuvre using his vehicle as a weapon.

Wouldn’t have killed this cyclist to slow down for a pedestrian on a zebra crossing. Totally disrespectful. I wonder what his social media post would say if it were his daughter crossing 🤷🏻‍♂️

This driver cuts across the middle of a roundabout to inconvenience a moped rider. The driver was indicating but had he manoeuvred correctly both he and the moped driver would have comfortably continued on their respective ways. Sadly I think there was another agenda at play here.

It’s cyclists like this that ruin it for everyone. I don’t think this pedestrian will be advocating for more cycle lanes and protective infrastructure. All cyclists must call this out.

According to my Garmin, today I was stopped for 4mins 10secs on a 17km commute to central London. I could save 2mins or more running reds. In my opinion I think it is safer to be front of the queue than risk getting side slammed. But that’s me 🤷🏻‍♂️

“E-bikes are a menace and should be taxed and have insurance. Then they’ll be obliged to follow the rules” Of course, I got in the way of this cyclist going at approx twice the speed limit for the road, at a pedestrian controlled crossing.

For those of you commuting home in London this evening, be safe - it’s looking ugly out there. But remember this: Rule #9 “If you are out riding in bad weather, it means you are a badass. Period”

Loads of bikes go through here on red, which is a shame as it is on a pedestrian green. Seen a few close calls, mostly from other bikes jumping from the right. But I wasn’t expecting a bike riding policeman to pass on my right!! Is this “get out of jail free” card? 🤷🏻‍♂️

No! This is all wrong. A licensed private hire taxi in London driving through a red traffic light?! I genuinely thought only cyclists do that 🤷🏻‍♂️

This driver got confused with the green man for pedestrians. Totally fine when you’re in a scaffolding truck.

I prefer to take some personal responsibility for my own safety on roads. If that means taking primary and following a slower vehicle in front then so be it - I’m in control. Trying to get ahead on the inside of a vehicle moving at 15-20mph is not for me - shouldn’t be for anyone tbh. Stay safe

The dumpster HAD to pull out in front of me on the bike, in the wet. Otherwise the van coming the opposite way would have had to wait. That would’ve been very inconvenient 🤷🏻‍♂️

This is embarrassing. A cyclist and motorbike stop to allow pedestrians to cross, yet two cyclists fail to stop - one outside the motorbike and the other squeezing between cyclist and pedestrians waiting. This just builds distrust of cyclists and needs to be called out by the cycling community

This could have ended very badly for the young lad on the Lime bike. Cyclists jumping red lights is perhaps the most dangerous thing they can do.
