I find it completely baffling that Ofsted wants to replace a four-grade scale for sub-judgements with… a five-grade scale for (ten!) sub-judgements. This isn’t the Ofsted reform that teachers and leaders have been crying out for. Scrap the one-word judgements - including at the sub-grade level.

The kid who was on the U/1 boundary for two years… got a 1. Beaming about this just as much as the 9s.
