If we had had enough runtime or episodes we wanted more time spent with Alastor and the other two Vees. The closest was that scene with Velvette, but I'm glad people took away the right thing from it! Haha Alastor would weirdly get along with them. Which would just piss Vox off more lol

I’m loving all the art I’m seeing of Alastor and Velvette hanging out 😂 It’s so funny seeing people draw her putting makeup on him when he’s hanging out with her and Val because that’s literally what Skye and I pitched for that scene but it didn’t make the cut 😔 Lives on in the beautiful fanart lol

仔細想想現在已經不能說「身為天使不可能管得了地獄」了，他是被禁止的，如果可以管，也許沒辦法到有條有理，但會是個充滿驚喜的大型馬戲團吧

Also- while Lucifer is by all accounts "the devil" from "da bible"... that doesn't mean he is reaaally .. ✨THE DEVIL✨ in Hazbin Hotel. At least by my own personal definition. 👀 cuz I do feel like the concept of 'the devil' is... a bad guy lol

It should go without saying this limitation has wider reaching implications and it is NOT the last time it's relevant, but I found this a much more interesting thing to explore. Lucifer has no reason to care about his kingdom, he cares about his family, and his hellborns and that's about it. lol

When approaching Lucifer I wanted to lean into the Fallen Angel side of him. He wasn't a bad guy, he was a dreamer who fell in love and defied an unjust system. He isn't a tyrannical evil ruler, he's a cosmic being trapped in what is considered his greatest mistake. He was beautiful and prideful!

Episode 5 Review: Principal Lucifer

說真的第五集實在太好看了，電視男做為反派被塑造得太成功了，先不論任何「為惡」的細節有多麼差勁，光是他的演講和正面對決路西法的部分就可以知道這個男人果然是前幾名可怕的罪人，因為他的言語脈絡聽了很順耳，這未必是口條的功勞，更多是這一切站在罪人的立場完全合情合理，他知道罪人需要什麼，他很清楚罪人的視野只能看見什麼以及想看見什麼

難怪路西法要躲起來不然可能大家都想打他雖然應該打不到但如果是我也只想獨處看肥皂劇然後哭

*劇透 我滿喜歡電視男仍然稱呼路西法為天使的，他沒有什麼類似墮天使之類的前綴詞，也不是貶低他是什麼不稱職的王，而是直接叫他天使，彷彿天使這個詞在地獄就是一種骯髒可笑的詞彙一樣，根深蒂固的價值觀落差好好看的

*劇透 難道只有莉莉絲有辦法對罪人做什麼？而且電視男的說法是要反抗之前就消失了，公主的說法是莉莉絲想要改善罪人的處境，所以莉莉絲可能是唯一能夠對罪人做點什麼的統治階層？因為路西法什麼都不能做？包含反抗清剿？公主才誤會他是個不負責任的父親？

難怪路西法打亞當打那麼用力

所以路西法晨星的憤怒提琴是他最大程度的攻擊了

我看完後腦內空白只剩三個想法 1.Vees千萬不能吵架啊拜託 2. 電視男超級壞我的媽啊好好看 3. 路西法的屁股好大

What shocked me the most in Ep4 was how it broke the anime logic of ignoring bang direction. It used to always be like, “If the face is facing left, the bangs go left. If it’s facing right, the bangs go right. Yep, that’s it, problem solved.” Damn it, reverse bangs are so hard to draw 😭

I love this expression on his face, and looking closer, I noticed his own mouth actually curves up at the corners — as expected of Alastor💖
