The SNAP fiasco is pretext for Trump eliminating SNAP entirely. He wants to force states to provide food benefits to their citizens so he can say, "See? The govt doesn't need to provide those benefits." He'll impound any money Congress appropriates for it, for more tax breaks for the wealthy.

Imagine what Carville could do in '26 with the GOP starving people and raising their health care costs. It was true a century ago and it's even more true now. I can't believe how incompetent Democratic leaders are.

Trump and the Republicans have no problem starving people. They started doing it with USAID and now with SNAP. The only difference between Trump and Netanyahu is that Trump starves his own people. And Trump sends the military after his own people.

I can't believe Democrats are this stupid. They held out for 2+ weeks on the budget and got nothing. They now own the shutdown and the GOP will win that messaging war. Pass the bill--it will create hardships throughout the country, but it will give Democrats something to run on next year.

Democrats can't win this fight. Pass the budget bill NOW before it's too late and run on all the bad things it does to people. Hold out, and you lose not only messaging but voters who suffer from the shutdown. CAVE now--you'll come out better next November.
