In a similar manner, want to shout out Absolute Bats. While it isn't the married happy BatCat book I dream of in the way USM provided, it is a superb reinvention of the Bat mythos thus far- that does have some sweet BatCat stuff (fingers crossed for more lol) but the story & everything is so fresh-

Wanted to highlight these both separately because they fall into similar categories for me. Both are very ambiguous stories that are left to the reader to interpret and think about. I don't always love that style of story, but I think they do a good job at what they're going for and are-

Power fantasy is so good. It's actually so good. Ignoring the stellar writing all 4 issues have had, the pacing, the characters, this book has a way of making you actually dread the superpowers fighting. Unlike marvel and DC where 90% of the time you see "oh the world is coming to an end" -
