"Is that how you thanks me for giving you a kingdom all yours to reign? Always remember Queen of Limbo, what Doom gives he can rapidly take back." He spat out his words, angrily looking at her. Nobody could menace Doom, not even sovereign queens on their thrones. "I came here to check on your work."

"You can't adjust to every situation if you don't know what your enemy can do." He explained before giving her a practical demonstration. He attacked directly ahead, a hit from above the head, fast and deadly.

Of course she didn't. He wasn't a visitor. "Darkchylde." The voice of Doom sounded harsh as usual, while he walked to her. Not even the most fiercest demons from Limbo dared to attack him, his armour glowing with a green aura. "It's a pleasure seeing you again."

He moved back, looking at her. His gaze hard, but not really amused. Doom put the sword away and touched the scratch in his armour. "You got no technique. All you use is your instinct." He scoffed, clearly disapproving that. She was good that was out of question. But she could be so better.

He was quick. A par, a slight movement to the side to unbalance her and a slight push with the sword to throw her off. Nothing hard. Nothing exceptional. But it was the act of a master, someone who trained his whole life sparring and dueling. "You are too direct."

"Of course not. And do not worry about using the soulsword at your favorite form." He looked her, even while being politely distanced the pressure that man brought on her with just a stare was massive. Doom was literally the best and worst master one could ever had the opportunity to study with.

He put a hand behind his back and bowed, like proper fencing etiquette requested. "En guarde.' He warned her, placing himself in the starting position of guard. He wasn't going to attack like some savage. "I hope your fencing isn't only brutal strenght."

"If you had two options and one of them was taller, stronger, and nearly invulnerable, which would you choose? I like being able to walk down dark alleys by myself... [...] I like the way people have to tilt their heads a little bit to talk to me. It's a good feeling..."

"I seemed to have undervalued you..." He started talking, slowly going towards the woman and in his hands, appeared a longsword with a green hilt, like a perfect knight. "You want to have someone seriously training you?" He raised the sword and placed it over his shoulder. Ready to start.

But she couldn't control her strenght So instead of a clean cut, the bot was fragmented. One of this metal chunks, flew all the way towards Doom, hitting him on the forehead. The metallic sound it made, could've been fun, if it didn't sounded so terrifying. +

He stood there silently. Floating with his legs crossed, eyes closed meditating. The doombots fought with Illyana valiantly, using an energy shield to par her blast, before passing on the attack wielding two swords each.

"Such power, always growing, more and more hungry for a space they aren't letting her take... Darkchylde will be a dangerous pawn in our next game." A secret thought of Doom while he looks at some recordings of Illyana latest battles and training.
