I am CRYING. The youngest’s grade just finished performing their concert, and one of the last songs, they sang and did full sign language for. Youngest is non-verbal. For the first time ever, he was able to sing/sign with his class.

Okay, I friggin’ love working with young kids. Today, a kid misunderstood his word problem to illustrate for “split one cracker between two people” and instead drew splitting one person between two crackers. Perfection. No notes.

My brother just sent me the video of the crows eating anamatronic Rapunzel’s hair. HE IS NOT THE FIRST ONE TO SEND IT TO ME. I’m so glad that my general vibe is someone who would enjoy seeing a Disney anamatronic getting mauled by crows. (Which, by the way, is an absolutely accurate reading.)

Youngest (nonverbal) LOVES SNOW. We’re expecting a good foot of it in the next day, so I jokingly asked if he’s making it snow, and he gave a big smile and thumbs up. …oldest (limited verbal) was paying attention, because, now, he keeps throwing stuff at youngest, repeatedly insisting, “SUMMER.”
