I truly love the local memory for legendary fuck ups that become touchstones for fans. I mean, who among us has forgotten Strick's 1990 turnover?? Add Wemby's brain freeze to the list. (It's telling that ours are pretty much all missed shots at the rim and/or times when guys left the bench.)

Jason Kidd is good at making owners happy but not that great at coaching. If he gets hired again, I would expect him to land somewhere that has an owner who likes the idea and personality of Jason Kidd, but does not know all that much about basketball.
