I don't know what's going on in St Paul but I've been hearing helicopters flying overhead all day. We've had helicopters flying over the cities since ICE invaded several weeks ago, but usually it's only a few times a day. I've lost count how many times I've heard them today. Dude wtf

Boycott companies profiting from doing business with ICE and/or this corrupt administration. It's estimated that 70% of the US economy is driven by consumer spending. So when consumers boycott corporations in big numbers, they pay attention. Support your local small businesses instead! ☀️

I had a dream I was visiting a friend's lake house & we saw ICE agents outside. We tried to barricade the doors to keep them out. But all we had was the lightweight wicker furniture & the quilts that her grandparents use in the summertime. It's crazy that's not even a far fetched scenario 💔

I ❤️ St Paul. I walked to my local Asian market in my lunch break & picked up a ton of Asian deli food for < $40. I carried it home in my fave Pride 🏳️‍🌈 reusable bag from the used bookstore. It was nice to get out on a sunny winter day. ☀️

I am looking at grad schools and emailed a program for some info. After a bit, they asked if I would send them my resume. I sent it, along with a link to my LinkedIn profile. Now I feel awkward & bashful because grown ups are checking out my work history. They're adultier adults than I am.

*cries in Minnesotan* Minneapolis is #5 on the list. The bike infrastructure here is wonderful. However, right now Minneapolis is under ICE occupation. I'm in St Paul. We are carrying our passports on us to go on bike rides. Even then, it's not a guarantee that we make it home safe. 💔

Ugh. I hate this guy. We said ABOLISH ICE. Dismantle the whole system. Identify & prosecute agents for crimes committed here. Moving 700 agents from MN to other states just to terrorize their communities is NOT the answer. ABOLISH ICE. Defund it. Prosecute them. Only then can we heal.

Oh look, the government that sent thousands of armed agents to Minnesota to distract from the Epstein files did such a horrible job that they had to release the Epstein files to distract from people coming together in solidarity with Minnesota.

I miss cycling. In the warmer months, I bike commute as much as possible. The Twin Cities has awesome bike infrastructure. When spring comes, will it be safe to ride? Do it need to carry my passport with me on my bike, in case I'm stopped / profiled? 💔

Fucking cowards. How many people will ICE terrorize over the next two weeks while the Senate plays politics? They are hoping tensions will relax over the next two weeks and they can negotiate higher funding, with less constraints. They need to defund ICE and bring these agents to justice.

We need to heal. But healing is a luxury we simply do not have while ICE is terrorizing our community. ICE needs to leave Minnesota. DHS agents who committed crimes here need to be identified and brought to trial. Our justice system needs to do its job. Only then can Minnesotans heal.
