I’ll add onto this how it was treated by the industry as well. Because Neighbours doesn’t get the fame and glory of home and away despite providing arguably better results for long periods of its history… but the network didn’t value its contribution

This is going to be a long thread, but I wanted to take a moment and reflect on my experience with #Neighbours, and what the show meant to me. I don’t expect anyone to read this thread, but I’m gonna toss up some clips, have some fun and reflect on this show that’s meant so much to me…

Once I hit episode 163 of #SantaBarbaraNBC I'm thinking about syncing up and doing a #ClassicNeighbours viewing since it's all on YouTube and in HQ and then kinda compare and contrast American escapism with some Aussie friends.

So I feel at this point I've seen my fair share of soap opera end-games, and #Neighbours 2025 is an odd one for me. This isn't a show that's winding down or going out on a whimper, we're setting up years of story, and still have plenty to explore and go through, and yet, it's ending in a weeks time.

One of the biggest things I'm going to miss about #Neighbours is the directing. It is crazy how much storytelling was able to be done simply with the movement of the camera and giving the director the ability to truly do their job.

It keeps hitting me in waves. I may not have been here from the beginning, but I’ve been with these neighbours for my entire adult life. I am not going to be okay when I have to say goodbye for real. I thought this time would be different. It isn’t. It still hurts like hell. #Neighbours
