On an unrelated note from my #bsd saga, I was able to jump through the needed hoops to get my network Brother printer connected to my main #opensuse pc. After some food I will tackle the same issue with my openSUSE macbook.

#debian just works. With no issues whatsoever I was able to quickly install Debian on the lil nuc and it is good to go.

For the time being, #bsd is dead to me. Trying to get the basics running on the nuc was just too much of a chore and just wasn’t fun. So in its place is going to be reliable #debian.

Alight, doing a fresh install of #openbsd. This time I am going to install KDE Plasma from the get go. I want to try to not Frankenstein this install.

Let’s just say I have not been having much fun with #openbsd. Let’s see if #ghostbsd gives me a little bit of fun.

Under the desk shelving has been a life saver. Now I have usable desk space and my less used Mac mini and sff Windows build are in a safer place tucked out of the way. I should have jumped on this set up much earlier.

I did an #ubuntu #asahi install on the M1 Mac Mini. So far seems more stable than the Asahi #fedora install. So far things are on the up and up.

I have successfully “wiped” the m1 mac mini enough to land back at Sequoia. Maybe I should just stay here….

Gee golly I am so bored with the M1 Mac Mini. I thought Tahoe 26 would keep me interested but it has honestly made it more boring AND less easy to use. I am currently doing a fresh install of 26. After that I will do another install of Asahi Linux as it has been a few years since I have ran that.

To my peeps running #gnome on #wayland, are you having issues with login freezes? On two separate computers and 3 different distros I have ran into issues with my system locking up/freezing after login. This only happens in a Wayland session. If I use Gnome on #xorg I have no issues.

Welp, after more tinkering with the main pc it looks that I will be jumping distros. Files are backed up and an iso has been loaded to the flash drive. I think I am going for the holy green trifecta.
