Switch 2 seems to continue Nintendo's desire for gaming to be more social, but it seems that Nintendo realized that social media is a cesspool and cannot be contained, so they basically limited social features to your closest friends. Imagine if Miiverse was active today.

Civ 7 is largely suffering from missing polish in UI/UX & tech issues, and is justifiably criticized. But it's still very good and a lot of the choices in the game design are deliberate and inspired. I know the greater gaming community has nothing valuable to say about Overwatch 2, because I still remember how everyone was saying how the global healing passive in OW2 was a bad idea. These people don't even play the game, let alone look at the patch note details. Y'all Reactionary sheep.

Right now, Marvel Rivals is a fun game where every character is a polished new experience. With Overwatch 2, I can consistently have a good time skillfully playing with teamwork in solo queue Quick Play. Currently, I cannot say the same about Rivals.
