Doomsday's original design was heavily inspired by the Arkham Horror board game. Up until about 6 months before launch you would draw random start of turn cards to impact the board every turn. This is how I shared the feature with the game's UI artist.

The demo quality I got for the voice roster is waaaay higher than I was expecting and what I've seen historically. Through about 70/500. I do wish more VA's had creature demos! Videogames usually have lots of little guys that need voicing. I'll have to ask for that next time.

Have loved my time with Expedition 33 but very mixed in the story. It's incredible in so many ways and absolutely missed the mark in so many others - it doesn't get much more indie in terms of structure for both good and bad.
