Bedford MA represents

Chocorua was the first “big” mountain that Pam and I attempted together. For various dumb reasons neither of us made it to the summit. Real close. Still, a great hike.

Latest hike… Mt Cardigan. Somehow, my first climb of this mountain. With Pam and her friend Cathy.

Parallels to my own situation. German-born mother. Austrian-born father. Sister and I born in Israel. Emigrated to US and naturalized 65 years ago. My “religion” and place of birth were imposed by forces and events far beyond my control.

2.5 miles thru Bedford woods with Andrew and Ben. Cold and breezy. A few snowflakes coming down.
