What if I did something terrible like write a cool character and then have them die over something stupid with no build up to it? Can't tell if that'd be bad storytelling or if it makes sense cause people CAN DIE doing stupid shit

I feels shameful for making Gen. I saw another cat OC and found inspo to make a fat cat OC. I think we're okay though, cause I've been wanting a fat cat OC and after getting PLENTY of inspiration from other car OCs I finally thought of my own. Now I just gotta avoid large character cliche traits.

Need opinions. I've been considering doing commissions (when I can find a way to get paid without leaving a digital footprint), but I'm not sure if anyone would want to buy from me. With my art style, is it "that's good, I'd com", "good, but needs work" or "I wouldn't commission for this art style"?
