I shared the site plan for my Universal Studios Hollywood expansion earlier, now we start going land by land. First is the areas outside the park. EXTERIOR PARK AND CITYWALK The only changes happening here are the under construction security hubs and the heavily rumored main gate hotel.

Love it. But now I need to update the park expansion concept plan that I just finished again! I want to keep them accurate to new changes in the parks and Disney keeps announcing new stuff over the last few months. But not complaining because I'm glad to see these unexpected updates and additions!

Over the weekend I wrapped up the drawing for my next project. But the real exciting part is that my next project is actually 5 projects. Yes I've been working on FIVE (5!) park plans at once. And they are all existing park expansion plans that I'm super happy with.

Quick informal poll. For the labeling of my park plans, do you like the actual text on the plan (left example) or keynotes and a legend (right example)? I think keynotes look cleaner but I'll admit it makes it more effort to read. What do you prefer?

That Walt figure is so smooth and has some amazingly realistic movements. Looks like a real human if you just don't look at the face too hard. Amazing technology. The face is just like 5% off but I get it, it's a lot of mechanisms that have to fit in there. Can we have one in EPCOT?

Love the ideas so far for this expansion plan for Epic Universe and where its going! The plan graphics are so clean as always too. Fun to see what will be next.

Feels like a massively obvious move to put Muppetvision in the sunset showcase theater in a year or two and make a little new Muppet land with RnRC in that corner of the park. Going to very disappointing if it never reappears somewhere.

More evidence about ATL being the worst: Security at Vancouver airport had an empty line tonight and we were though security and customs in 5 minutes. But we waited 30 minutes at Atlanta security last week.

On a trip to Seattle and did some quick Twin Peaks sightseeing on the side today.

I've got some Universal Hollywood thoughts from my first time visit. The big takeaways: I love movie making and movie history so I was thrilled to be at such a historic studio park. And also I wish the park had some more non thrill/media attractions that don't cause motion sickness.

Ok first, Fan Fest is awesome and I hope it keeps going and improving. I was there for BttF mostly but also did Star Trek and DnD. All impressively very high quality, and would love to see a couple more Fan Fest attractions like this added for future years to spread crowds better.

Home from an very fun and very tiring 30 hour getaway to Los Angeles for Fan Fest! It was my first time to Universal Hollywood and I have many many thoughts about the park and the event. Very happy though that I impulsively planned a last minute trip for this.

Every time I fly anywhere, I get to see more evidence of how bad Atlanta airport security is. 50 minutes at ATL yesterday, 3 minutes at LAX today. It's shocking how much better every other airport is.

Hello Universal Hollywood. Excited to head over soon! First time here, and first time in a theme park since 2022.

Made it to LA for Fan Fest tonight! Now hoping this very foggy and wet weather changes in the next few hours.

Question for Universal Hollywood regulars. What in park restaurants are good? Seeing very mixed reviews for everything but I'll need 1 or 2 meals Saturday. Don't necessarily care about the theme or location, just looking for what is actually good food worth trying.

Super excited to go to Fan Fest next weekend, mostly for this Back to the Future stuff! First time at Universal Hollywood as well. Really looking forward to the studio tour and exploring a new to me theme park.

Going to repost my Tomorrow Worlds project one more time! I'm a little bummed how much this flopped here. I know original stuff never does that well, but I think I got really unlucky with this not getting much visibility due to the lack of algorithm. So if you missed this before, check it out!

Having serious issues with bluesky image compression. My high res project images look a little fuzzy but ok on bluesky desktop. But they look terrible and unreabable on my phone. No idea what to do! This is a large site plan image that I want to be legible. Anyone know any fixes?

My plan to avoid epic universe spoilers has fully failed because it all looks so good and I can't stop looking at all the photos and videos from yesterday. Going to try to avoid ride and queue videos as best I can though and let that be a surprise.

Looks like the media previews for Epic Universe this weekend are allowing photos and videos, so time for me to decide how unspoiled I want to try to be. I have very tentative hopes to go in the fall. Can I avoid real spoilers for half a year or should I just give in?

I was going to post my new project tomorrow. But then I realized it was April Fools Day... So next Tuesday it is.

Daredevil Born Again is so so good. I love the split of lawyer Matt episodes and Daredevil episodes. I could do multiple seasons of just a law procedural style show that includes all the New York street level super heroes.

Park plan labeling in progress. Trying out using a key number/letter system for this drawing instead of text all over the place, and this looks so much cleaner. Really excited about this one!

Love this. I'm glad they are doing something unique like this that feels like the iconic parts of the movie. I've been wanting this ride for 20+ years and can't believe we are finally getting it.
