The police failed Henry Nowak. No one can argue that. People should be held to account, properly. But I’ve spent far too much time working with police to stomach a politician of any persuasion saying the reaction to this should be ‘pure cold rage.’ It will put a target on police. That’s appalling.

Just started watching Legends on Netflix. I’ve got high hopes for it, BUT… If one of the first songs you have playing in a scene isn’t recorded until two years after your show is set, you’re getting marked down. Do a period piece, do it right. And definitely don’t fuck up one of your first songs.

My brain: “I have this great idea for a standalone book you can write whilst doing other books.” Me: “Fine” Also my brain, five chapters in: “Here is how this story arc will play out over the course of at least three books.” Guess I’m doing a new series then.
