Well, I strayed too far outside my comfort zone and I'm not gonna finish it on time. I'm still glad I tried and I learned a lot, but rushing it to meet the deadline is gonna ruin the drawing and burn me out. I still want to finish it, but for now I need a break. Too much going on in September.

There's a constant war in my brain as I draw and paint between the harmful perfectionism of "it has to be impeccable" and the artistic side of "there is no humanity in perfection" The perfectionist side is, unfortunately, much more persuasive. It's by far my biggest flaw.
