Content creators (and business owners): today is a great day to start an email list

Same thing with the software and software-as-service (SaaS) we use; we need to diversify the different toolsets we use and have access to so we can keep churning out our content, products and services.

I’ve also said this before: email marketing should absolutely be utilized by content creators. Where can your community find you if your socials go dark? You can still provide your products and/or services to your email list, but keeping your email list is key.

On the optimistic side of things: keep making the content as if it was still going to be on TikTok. This may very well be temporary. On the realistic side: make the content that was going to go on TikTok and publish it to other platforms. Archive. Archive. Archive. And repurpose it too.

I’ve said this before during my livestreams that we as content creators absolutely have to diversify our content and where it’s housed. I think it’s even more imperative that we make provisions to archive our content on our own, too.

With TikTok being banned, there are loads of Twitch streamers that are readily making themselves available to help TikTok content creators become Twitch streamers.

I’m not gonna lie. I like that BlueSky allows you to use your domain for your handle as a way to “verify” your account. It’s like being able to add the “checkmark” without jumping through a lot of hoops or paying extra money.
