finished amphoreus story today, ive said it before but hsr genuinely impresses me with how much more i enjoy it as a video game than even many other "normal" games out there its flaws are mostly genre flaws, which doesn't make them magically go away or anything, but it goes crazy in its lane

ok so after making my whinepost a friend did invite me to the 2xko beta ive only gotten to play a bit, but so far i have Extremely high impressions that are vastly on the rise i do have concerns about ease of play, game feels complicated + hard to me but many new ppl are finding it easy so /shrug

we started expedition 33 recently and we're having a great time but sadly the parallels have once again reignited my fixation on xc3 and i need help i just don't know if there will ever be another game like it for me. i appreciate it more with every passing month, every passing game

ive been so quiet on here and the other app lately but really just not a whole ton to say even though i miss interacting we finished up blue prince and im waiting for one or two peeps to finish before i give a proper reaction, but i really liked it! it's my favorite game that ive played in a while

im gonna say it and don't cancel me for it, but for me, hsr has definitely crossed the threshold of "this is good for a gacha game" and is now in the camp of "this is just good." it has had SO many bumps, but i think it's there at this point

i say this as someone who loved octopath 2: sincerely, it's time to stop making these games

ngl I started playing reverse 1999 yesterday and, partly due to that and partly in general, I'm having a real hard time mustering the energy to progress the HSR story the writing gap is insane and idk how many more cringe patches I have in me before I start skipping story

my quick 2024 games completed summary unordered within rows. row 1 is peak, these were excellent games row 2 is very good, i don't LOVE these but i enjoyed them a lot row 3 is good and memorable (positive) but not exceptional as games row 4 i did not enjoy does not include multiplayer stuffs

i have to shill briefly, my xbox controller was dying so i bought myself a gamesir cyclone 2 for christmas, which was my first 3rd party controller in basically forever. and my god, this has got to be the single best controller i've ever purchased

btw i saw the sonic 3 movie this weekend... 10/10 no notes. this is my favorite video game media that ive seen and i just got done watching arcane if you played sonic adventure 2 as a kid, it's a must-watch, full stop
