here's something cool: I went to Helsinki to pick up this Yamaha MV1602 plus the rack shown here for 100€ total. pretty good score already, the case alone is worth around 50€! not to even mention the mixer once I've serviced it. but it gets even better...

oh wow so I serviced this Boss BX-8 that I bought for TEN EUROS with PSU. took me only a couple of hours to clean everything and treat the pots. works perfectly again. listed it for sale online, and right after I had listed it on the second (out of 4) site, it insta-sold on the first for 110€ lol

There wasn't that much turnout, but everyone had fun! Shout out to the youth services of Lahti for arranging a DJ course and then subsequently hosting this party. I joined the course to see if I missed anything when I taught myself how to mix but ended up becoming a second teacher myself lol

heyyy, need opinion. ripping vinyl, normalized both tracks to -14 LUFS. a lot of clipping, but every time it clips it only lasts for 1-4 samples so it doesn't affect the sound quality. reckon this is okay for archival?
