It’s looking increasingly likely that we will have another tropical cyclone develop in the next couple days north of the Greater Antilles and possibly into the Bahamas. Tons of uncertainty remains thereafter, but we will want to keep an eye on this given its location.

Warmer-than-normal temperatures will persist for the next few days, especially ahead of a cold front that will bring some fairly solid rain chances to the area for the first time in a little while on Friday. We're also monitoring the tropics, which are starting to wake up a bit.

A warming trend begins Tuesday as high pressure to the north continues to weaken and winds turn more onshore, ushering in a much more summer-like feel over the next few days. Rain chances tick up for late week as a front approaches.

Astronomical fall begins on Monday with the autumnal equinox at 2:19 PM, but it will increasingly feel more like summer as the week wears on as above-normal temperatures take hold by midweek.

A much more summer-like look to the radar than we’ve seen in the recent past with scattered downpours generally northeast of I-26 this afternoon. Temperatures are in the upper 80s to low 90s away from the immediate coast.
