A few more vintage Christmas cards.

#vintagechristmascard #christmas I love Christmas cards from the 1940s. These are especially meaningful as they are in my 2x great grandmother’s scrapbooks that I possess. They bring me joy and connection.

#ornamentchallenge #ornament #christmas A few years ago my wife and I decided to purchase ornaments that represented people we love. This Ford Bronco represents my dad who passed away in 1993. In 1970 he bought a brand new blue Bronco almost just like the one in the picture.

Back in the 50’s my dad apparently loved posing with his cars.The person I knew growing up was an alcoholic and not always a nice guy. Wish I could have known the person he was in the photos.

#blueskymonday In 2019 my wife’s family ( her mom, siblings and spouses ) spent 4 days together in Tampa, Florida. It is a precious memory for me as it will never happen again.

#blueskymonday I love palm trees and love the desert. This was taken back in 2021 in Mesa, Arizona during a family reunion trip. For some reason we thought July would be the perfect time of year to visit there.

My yard makes me smile .

Grief has affected me in ways I never imagined it would. Simple things like seeing 2 bees on the flowers in my yard bring me some of the joy I crave.

I took these photos in the backyard of my mother in law. She passed away yesterday but I took a moment to capture some of the beauty of her yard that she loved so much. Losing my mom last July and now my wife’s mom ,has been beyond difficult.
