Psychological. Or to be more exact, something that comes from psychological torment but manifests itself physically within the story. You don't want to think that it's all imagined, but it's really cool when the horrors feed off from characters' negative experiences. #booksky 💙📚 #BookishQOTD 📖🦋

Fear of the unknown is always a good one for me, as long as it doesn't demonize or misrepresent who/what the story is Othering. I love when the Unknown is supernatural as well, whether in fact (like the Overlook Hotel) or in implication (like the Hound of the Baskervilles). 💙📚 #BookSky #BookishQOTD

I wrote an original fic recently for a exchange, that came out kinda creepy. It was about a new cat cloning method that went out of control and transformed people into cat-people, and was also creating worryingly intelligent cats. The main theme was the dangers of corporate negligence.
