Yesterday was also the 9th anniversary of the public engagement session for the Almon St bike lane. While the lane was “completed” last year, one woman effectively killed the section west of Windsor by standing up at the meeting and yelling about how there’d be nowhere to park for birthday parties.

this is a terrible survey (a hint: do not say "improve" in a question where you are asking if people like and idea or not) but it is also really important to fill out and you have my permission to use a lot of upper case and exclamation marks

In response to NIMBY sentiment, Halifax planners are proposing to frustrate the development of missing-middle housing. If you care about making Halifax more inclusive, please write your councillor. We don't need more arbitrary setback and design requirements. We need more housing.
