1 thing I don't like about the Miles Morales game is Ganke's voice. he sounds like an adult & his voice is almost identical to Peter Parkers The irony of his line "I'll just call as a high school kid pretending to be an adult" when he's voiced by a 30yo adult pretending to be a high school kid lol

Couldn't sleep but too tired to game, so I restarted Dan Da Dan after only getting thru the first 2 episodes I got to episode 5. The animation is so good and the writing and voice acting (Japanese) are hilarious

I'm really intrigued for the upcoming openworld Seven Deadly Sins Origins game coming to ps5 I love the series, the art is nice, and the cozy aspects looks nice But the developer has a mobile and ftp PC games vibe and the main character looks to be a plot driving rando so I don't have high hopes

I started RDR1 Undead Nightmare and am so surprised how big this little dlc campaign is! The random drum & bass music is especially funny in this wild west zombie apocalypse. Hahaha Undead horses are rad Truth be told I'm over RDR1 and so hyped to replay 2 I may skip the remainder of this DLC

And that's it for RDR1. Some technical issues got in the way of fun & some mission's writing was so stupid But beyond those was a fantastic story, fun shootouts & a surprisingly full world 7.8/10. Almost an 8 if it weren't for frequent rage inducing tech issues and nonsensical mission scenarios

I bought Fate/Samurai Remnant on sale for PS5 and holy shit it starts off strong. Definitely need to get good at the combat but the story seems like its going to be great.

Mexico in RDR1 is filled with "kill these people for me and I'll tell you where Javier is" missions with John going along/being complicit with who are clearly bad & untrustworthy taking you to the other side of the map over & over just to get burned again & again Ugh. Not very fun in this section

Made it to Mexico in RDR1 The river ferry shootout was kind of dumb/pointless, when right after, i discovered there's a nice quiet bridge to Mexico, not teeming with bad guys from Plainview in Rio Bravo. Hahaha Like FR? Oh well. I guess they needed to make it seem dangerous to cross the border

I've officially surpassed my longest play attempt in red dead redemption 1 some of the annoyances are still annoying but finding a lot more fun and understanding John Marstons character better makes his begrudging willingness to comply with total shitheads make more sense

Some of the bugs in Red Dead 1 have been magnificent hahaha Nothing game breaking so they're only hilarious

I really finding the charm and fun in RDR1 that I've missed on every other attempt but it's also largely making me want to play RDR2 again with all of the improvements that game made from the first. Hahaha I'll get thru 1 and might be great to do a game double feature and replay 2 right after.

My doctor put me on a new pain med patch and asked me to journal the progress. Seems to be helping reduce my pain. Yay! but makes me really itchy. Ugh Day6 Pain gone but itchy. Today hungry and eat doggy food Day 10 Itchy itchy Scott came ugly face so killed him. Tasty. 4 Itchy tasty

more progress on this WIP song. Decided to start composing/inputing my own drums. I wanted to get the groove down to help figure out the bassline. Happy with what I made, still need to do the chorus and add fills & breaks. Need to take a break from here. this eats up a lot of mental energy haha

here's the new song WIP. still a rough cut. needs cleaning up but I like how it's progressing. next is working on a bassline for this I'm feeling pretty weighed down with both my declining health and just the world. That feeling of burden came thru the music tonight as I riffed this out.

Riffed out some new music. Didn't record myself playing but I'll post a screen recording. fleshed out my last realtime riff with a pre chorus and chorus part. just need a bridge and come up with the basslines next. Will post a video soon.

I finished Crypt Custodian. Such an excellent topdown metroidvania with fun & unique abilities that always surprised & delighted me. Such a cute and sweet story. Fantastic writing. Tight controls. Crazy boss fights, fun combat, great music and a big world to explore. Not much negative to say. 9/10

Some decent titles in the Direct, but kind of underwhelming I don't get why they're remaking Fatal Frame 2 but not 1? same with Luigi's mansion 2 Also where's Metroid Prime 2 & 3? There are a few that I'm legit excited about, esp Pokemon Pokotopia. that looks like a silly, cozy great time.

Watched ep1 of Alien Earth and its pretty great Has a few dumb writing tropes and a couple bad actors from bit part character but nothing that detracts from the overall greatness The 80s sci-fi tech & sets are superb. Great script. Amazing vfx. Great story and great acting aside from a couple duds

Crypt Custodian is so f***ing good A top down metroidvania with simple but challenging and fun combat Boss fights are crazy hard but mostly just needs practice to get their patterns and a touch of luck to beat them The art, writing and story are great, puzzles/abilities are very creative
