Honestly, the knowledge that all this fatigue I've been functioning under is real and has some sort of explanation is simultaneously extremely relieving and has instilled so much anger in me. I've always been a resilient creature. I've always managed despite the odds against me. I shouldn't have to.

So it turns out I've likely been functioning for the last year with vitamin D levels less than 1/3 of the minimum considered "normal"

The past few months have really fucking sucked, largely because I honestly feel isolated as a creator. I miss having folks to talk about Big Projects and creative plans with. But I rarely have the capacity for DMs these days, and I'm too nocturnal to catch most people for VCs.

Make sure to balance out your righteous anger towards modern society in healthy, productive, and fulfilling ways. Tell your friend you love them. Write up positive reviews of things you enjoy. Go for walks and get some sun, or cuddle up with a pet . Don't be angry all the time, you'll burn out.

Reminder that there's nothing wrong with the occasional treat. Capitalists love to tell us that poverty is our own fault for spending instead of saving. But you can't save your way out of a broken system. Life is exhausting. If $5 a week is the cost of joy, so be it.
