Backrooms — fun haunted house ride movie!

"They Were Expendable", based on a scene from an eponymous John Ford film that I couldn't get out of my head. I tried to get across a complicated scene, tried multiple experiments, and ended up with whatever this is.

Watched Messiah of Evil (1974) the other day, from the makers of Howard the Duck (1986). I think I love Lovecraft inspired films when they're not too bogged down in lore or tentacles. The quiet open surreal settings are way more eerie than silly demon names I say. Nice eerie and unique horror film

Watched India: Matri Bhumi (1959) the other day, one of the lesser known works by Roberto Rossellini, but doesn't deserve to be that unknown. Starts off like a standard travel documentary but turns into a gorgeous meditative tone poem about humanity and nature. Wonderful picture
